Hello Everyone,

In this tutorial,

Let us Install Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS Server on Virtual Box with Full Screen Resolution   --  64 Bit

You Can also Install in VMware Workstation 11 or Microsoft Hyper-V.

Minimum System Requirements

1.  x86-64 CPU (64-bit Macs, with an Intel Core 2 Duo, Intel Core i3, Intel Core i5, Intel Core i7, or Xeon processor).

2  2GB of System Memory (RAM).

3. 20GB of Disk Space(Hard Disk).

4. Graphics Card and Display capable of at least 1024x768.

5. Either a CD/DVD drive or a USB port for the installer media.

6. Internet Access.

Step1:- First Download Virtual box setup below is this link to download

Select -- Virtual Box 4.3.X for Windows hosts 32 or 64 bit.   

(Where 'X' is the Latest Version)

Step3:- Download ISO Image Ubuntu Server 12.04  LTS.....Click Below link

Size :- 546MB.

For Full Screen Resolution..

Step4 :- sudo apt-get install virtualbox-guest-dkms virtualbox-guest-utils virtualbox-guest-x11                or

Step5 :- sudo apt-get install virtualbox-guest-dkms

Restart the VM and enjoy screen-size.

Mount the Guest Additions by selecting Devices --- Insert Guest Additions CD image… (or you can press Host + D)

Step6 :- run the VBoxLinuxAdditions.run script within the newly mounted cd

              or  sh VBoxLinuxAdditions.sh

Procedure......................

Step 1 :- open orientdb-community-1.7

step 2 : go to bin open it and then doulbe click on server.bat file

step 3 : open browser type (localhost:2480) to access orientdb site.

step 4: enter default username root and passwd - go to orientdb-community-1.7 folder open the config folder and open (orientdb-server-config) search for password that will be 60 in  character plus words mix with both word then paste into orientdb click login it

First Download OrientDB 1.7 Click Below is the Link to Download...

Download Oracle Java JDK 8

Procedure......................

First Download OrientDB and Java JDK

1. To Install Java JDK

2. How to verfity whether java is install or not

just by typing (Windows+R) in keyboard then type (cmd) press enter then type (java -version)  press enter, the version will show ...

 3. Extract the OrientDB Community 1.7 Folder (that you have download)....

Go to bin Folder Open (Server.bat) file ...you should see orientDB is active then open browser type (localhost:2480) page will open

then type username and password username by default (root) for password go to (config) folder open it and open the file name of (orientdb-server-config)  scroll down and search (password) name you will have password with long term words and put password and login into orientDB .....
