How to Solve or Fix "error parsing parser returned error 0xc00ce556" in Windows 10

 Solve or Fix error parsing parser returned error 0xc00ce556 in Windows 7 or Windows 10


Using 3 Methods

Method 1

1. GoTo Control Panel --> Uninstall a program






2. Select "Turn Windows features on or off"


3. Uncheck .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0, 3.0 and 4.5)

Note : it may take lots of time to open .net framework application



4. Restart computer

then again
5. Activate the .NET Framework 3.5 (includes .NET 2.0, 3.0 and 4.5) by Check the all and OK


6. Select Download files from Windows Update








Step 7

7. Windows features will download and install a new .NET Framework

  Method 2

Hold the Windows Key and Press R. In the run dialog; type

C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.3xxxx\Config
or
C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.3xxxx\Config









Look for a file named machine.config.default.
Copy machine.config.default to a different location – the Desktop or in other drive. see below image


Delete the corrupt machine.config file
from C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.3xxxx\Config\machine.config.

And Now, rename the machine.config.default to machine.config file where you have copied it.

Copy the machine.config file into C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v4.0.3xxxx\Config\machine.config


Close File Explorer and restart your computer.

Once your computer boots up, you should not see parsing error 0xC00CE556.


Last Method 
Perform a clean reinstall of your Operating System, if above method 1 and 2 are not working.
